About Me
Self-taught, I studied art techniques and history independently, with a particular interest in contemporary art.
As a child I loved to draw, but my life path led me to devote myself to scientific subjects, earning a degree in Medicine and Surgery.
Always fascinated by the French Impressionists, I dreamed of walking in Monet's garden!
Very often I had the desire to find something that could complete me, and I searched and looked for some ambition of creativity, but always hardly satisfied.
Following a particular period in my life in which I had more time to listen to my soul and give space to my creativity, I took brushes and colors in hand and started drawing on paper. Soon after I bought my first canvas to paint.
Picasso was my artistic reference in that period, and then I was fascinated by the American Abstract Expressionists, primarily by W. De Kooning.
My trip to NY was decisive for contaminating my artistic approach with elements of Pop and Street-Art.
Since 2022 I have also started the artistic correspondence of Mail Art and I founded the International Mail Art group called Mail Art Sardinia, in which I promote virtual and physical exhibitions.
